  2 PACKAGES OF  NON-GE-HEIRLOOM - BACHELOR'S BUTTON'S  FLOWER SEEDS,      150 SEEDS EACH IN EACH PACKAGE.  Plus  1 package of 25 seeds each of heirloom  Cosmos flower seeds.  

Hardy annual. Often self-sows. Bachelor's Buttons were brought to America in the 17th century.

BLUE BOY

Colorful blue, double flowers on tall 3' plants, bloom all season. Very easy to grow . It is a self-seeding annual.

Plant in full sun, in a well drained soil of average fertility.

In cool and temperate climates, direct-seed early in spring as soon as soil can be worked and when the  danger of heavy frost is past. In warm climates ( zones 9 & 10 ) direct seed sow in fall for winter flowers. The seeds germinate in about 10 days,  & the plants bloom 2 months after planting.

Space seedlings to stand  6 to 12 inches apart.

PLANTING DEPTH is : Cover seeds 1/4 inch deep with fine soil.

TIPS: The flowers are hardy annuals and they grow best in cool weather.

Bachelor's Buttons are beautiful in beds and borders, & make good cut flowers.
